Grow a Broom!

Yes, you can grow a broom. Brooms are made out of Broomcorn, a type of Sorghum.

Each packet contains 100+ seeds and a zine on how to grow the crop. Consider this your starter packet on becoming a broomcorn farmer.

Broomcorn needs full sun, nutrient rich, well-drained soil and regular watering for a succesful growing season.

Broomcorn is an annual crop, plant in spring and harvest in fall.

Save seeds for next season!

With the amount of seeds in each packet, you can grow enough for 2 house brooms or multiple hand brooms and cobweb brooms, if chosen to plant all the seeds. Tassel lengths will vary.

Rough seed guidelines:

One house broom: 40 crops

Cobweb Broom: 9 crops

Hand brooms: 5-8 tassel

Happy growing!
