Phipps May Market
Celebrate spring at our annual May Market, a bustling marketplace where Phipps horticulturists, local nurseries, farms and other vendors come together for a market of ultra-green proportions. May Market is free and open to the public, making for the perfect Mother’s Day weekend outing!

Chautauqua Craft Alliance Fine Craft Show
The Fine Craft and Art Shows presented by the Crafts Alliance take place twice a summer on the beautiful grounds at the Chautauqua Institution. Not only are the shows an opportunity to interact with some of the nation’s finest artists, it’s also a perfect excuse to plan a visit to Chautauqua Lake.

Winterthur Artisan Market
Spend a summer day—or the whole weekend—exploring Winterthur while shopping for artisan-made crafts and gifts.
Some of the region’s most talented craftspeople will present their outstanding wares, including antiques and collectibles, furniture and home décor, upcycled items and architectural salvage, high-quality handmade crafts, vintage clothing and jewelry, artisanal and small-batch gourmet goods, original art in a variety of media, garden items, and much more!
Artisan Market reflects the mission of Winterthur by showcasing local artisans through a variety of handmade crafts relating to art, textiles, ceramics, glass, woodworking, antiques, and gardening. Each of these categories connects to Winterthur’s past, and we invite you to create your own history with us during this special weekend.

A Fair in The Park
This annual contemporary fine art and fine craft festival will take place September 5, 6, 7, 2025. The show hours are FRI: 1pm-7pm, SAT: 10am-7pm, and SUN: 10am-5pm.
A Fair in the Park is held in the lush surroundings of Pittsburgh’s Mellon Park. An estimated 20,000 dedicated visitors enjoy the opportunity to interact with approximately 85 regional and national artists working in a variety of mediums including clay, fiber, wood, jewelry, glass, leather, metal, mixed media, and two-dimensional art.
All members of The Craftsmen’s Guild of Pittsburgh are eligible to participate in AFIP. Each year approximately 60% of the artists at the Fair are members of The Craftsmen’s Guild of Pittsburgh. The remainder of the artists are selected by a jury from a large pool of national and international applicants.
This public event is free of charge, held rain or shine.
